The award is a recognition of high performance among the CEOs of Hungary's IT industry.

In 2008, the IT CEO of the year is VirusBuster's managing director, Julianna Bozso. The award has a history of 11 years and as always, the jury consisted of the chief editors of industry newspapers and weekly magazines and IT professionals and was asked to choose the winner from a range of CEOs nominated by professionals of the ICT sector. The award is one of the biggest acknowledgements in the Hungarian IT industry which is also represented by the list of award winners from previous years.

I think that previous winners are the most dominant individuals in the Hungarian IT sector. This award, and becoming one of these individuals is a great honor for me. The development of the VirusBuster product portfolio began in the 90's in a predecessor of VirusBuster.
